I am an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor as well as a NC Concealed Carry Instructor. I've been shooting for nearly as long as I can remember. My dad started us off young, shooting a little 22 rifle down at my grandfather's farm. My enjoyment of shooting has only grown from there. Some people like to play golf, plant gardens, and other such activities. I like target shooting. That's my relaxation.
I taught my daughter gun safety and how to shoot as soon as she was old enough to be safe and responsible with a firearm. Together we've competed in several local competitions and even a national competition. I've always enjoyed introducing others to shooting as a sport. I do it without the shooting is a "guy thing" attitude. There is no "that gun's too big for you little lady" attitude here. To me shooting is a family friendly sport available to everyone.
